| A collaboration with the Integration Network for North Glasgow for Refugee Week 2011 Iseult Timmermans worked with Antonnia Shegbone to create a sound slide work that reflected her experiences of seeking asylum in the UK. The work takes a diary style approach and through photographs and an honest voice over, we are offered a powerful and moving insight into every day reality for asylum seekers. The work was origonally screened at a community event in Sighthill in June 2011 and also made as a set of pannels (as shown here) that were displayed at the GRAMnet (Glasgow Refugee and Migration Network) annual conference at Glasgow University, December 2011.  |
