Futureproof is Street Level Photoworks annual showcase of new talent in photographic image making, selected from across Scotland’s photography and fine art degree courses.

This year due to lockdown restrictions degree shows will not be staged, but we will be seeking out work from the Scottish institutions which will feature in a digital exhibition on the Street Level website as well as talks and events across our social media channels. 

We are partnering with Source magazine, with a large part of the selection for this years exhibition being made from submissions to the Source BA Graduate Photography Online platform from students graduating from Scottish photography courses. We are also delighted to share the news that for the second consecutive year we will again be partnering with the Jill Todd Photographic Award in announcing the Futureproof 2020 prize to one of the exhibitors in the exhibition. The JTPA promotes early careers in photography through the making and exhibiting of new photographic work.
