Photographs by Simona Ciocarlan  in a collaboration between Street Level Photoworks and Romano Lav for International Roma Day April 6th 2023

The series of portraits of Roma women in Govanhill can be seen in a window trail in various community, café and shop locations in the area from Saturday 6th until Monday 17th April.

The project is part of Street Level’s Culture Collective community programme, and is undertaken in partnership with Romano Lav, a community charity organisation challenging discrimination and promoting equality for Roma people.
