We are delighted to be able to offer one of our most popular courses again. The weekend provides an introduction to the wonderful world of wet plate collodion photography. Whilst an introduction, the course will provide you with all of the practical information, skills and contacts needed to begin the rewarding journey into hand making wet collodion photographs. Each participant will make at least two wet collodion photographs onto black aluminium (plates) - tintypes. Everyone will also have the opportunity to try a number of different cameras - from a handmade 10x8 camera to an adapted medium format Holga, the course will allow you to experiment with making wet plate images on low budget equipment.
