For our third talk we will be joined by Mike Day, a filmmaker and producer based in Scotland, as he discuss his project 'The Islands and the Whales' which is on show as part of Forever Changes.
'The Islands and the Whales' is a moving story of Faroe Islanders who see whale hunting as vital to their way of life, but contained within the whale meat are high levels of mercury which is slowly poisoning adults and children alike.
The talk will also include two short contributions from Faroe Islander guests, more details of which will be forthcoming.
