80s Sound and Vision, is an overview of youth culture in the 80s featuring photographs from Rock's days shooting for THE FACE, Rolling Stone, and Vogue magazine as well many rare images from the photographer’s archive. Rock’s firsthand narrative spans a decade, mainly in London with glimpses of LA, San Francisco, and Tokyo. It captures a time when street style defined identity, and youth created their own culture, music, and entertainment. Here are the roots of gender fluidity and an array of impressive talents that emerged from the suburbs and art schools. All her current books celebrate English subcultures and a global fascination with them.
