By Brittonie Fletcher

Salt printing, originally developed by William Henry Fox Talbot in the 1830’s and typically practiced until the 1860’s, combines salt and silver nitrate to produce reddish brown images.

This kit is perfect for both beginners and those with some experience to experiment with the wonderful Salt Print process. This kit is suitable for children aged 6+ (with some adult supervision).

Each kit includes:

- PART A: Sodium Chloride
- PART B: Silver Nitrate
- PART C: Sodium Thiosulfate
- Two pairs of gloves
- A coating brush
- A dropper
- Sheets of paper to make your prints
- Case which doubles as a development and washing tray
- Easy to use instructions along with some information and fun suggestions.
