Virginia Turbett is a British rock music and social reportage photographer best known for her photographs of bands, fans and street culture between the years 1977 and 1987. Virginia’s association with Glasgow goes far beyond her work of capturing Simple Minds in the early 80s. Her brother was a social worker in the city, so she would visit often. During visits to the city between 1978 and 1979, documented life in the streets of Glasgow.
