Lillie Art Gallery (Milngavie): 22nd Aug - 16th Sept / Peacock Visual Arts (Aberdeen): 22nd Aug - 3rd Oct

The annual showcase of graduating new talent from Scotland's photography courses. This year the exhibition takes place across two venues: Lillie Art Gallery (Milngavie) and Peacock Visual Arts (Aberdeen).

The exhibition aims to capture something of the broad range of ways that younger and emerging artists engage with Photography. The title 'Futureproof' is a pun on the definition of futureproofing - of finding ways of not becoming obsolete in the future, and also of the subtle ways of anticipating future developments in the field, of seizing opportunities, as well as the actual and intangible influences in ideas that feed the arts of photography.

Some of the work from Lillie Art Gallery will be show at Hillhead Library, Glasgow until 20th February 2016. For more details see the Hillhead Library event
