Talk by photographer Heinrich Voelkel, who will give an overview of the work of the OSTKREUZ agency, and also give a gallery tour of the Sibylle Bergemann exhibition. Born 1974 in Moscow, Heinrich was raised in Leipzig/East Germany and became a photographer after experiencing the events leading to the fall of the wall. He has been a member of the OSTKREUZ agency since 2005. He works for many major magazines and companies such as DIE ZEIT, Stern and DER SPIEGEL in Germany creating portraits and features. His own personal projects mainly deal with the consequences for people's of war and displacement.
