If you missed the livestream you can watch it in the video below

For the second in our series of In Focus talks we will be joined by Alishia Farnan & Peter Iain Campbell who will be discussing their projects 'Organised Recreation' and 'Ask the Sea; respectively, both of which were recently published by Another Place Press.

Alishia Farnan is based in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated from Fine Art Photography at The Glasgow School of Art in 2015. Her work engages with social architecture and its place in society. Using photography, she examines social history and her practice is rooted in a sense of legacy, place and culture. Her work has recently been exhibited in Ukraine as part of the UK/Ukraine Swap programme funded by The British Council.

Peter Iain Campbell graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2001. His practice is split between commerical assignments and personal projects, as well as teaching photography at City of Glasgow College. “Ask The Sea” is an ongoing photographic project exploring the changing nature of the Oil and Gas Industry in the North Sea. Partly inspired by the industrial typologies of Bernd & Hilla Becher it is a project shaped by motion and journey, a documentary of the remaining oil and gas Platforms and Drilling Rigs operating across the entire Scottish sector of the North Sea.
